Wildlife and Birds (Amendment) Act 2020
(a) If the offense involves protected wildlife, a fine not exceeding $50,000 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years, or both; and
(b) In any other case—
(i) The person commits an offense in the course of carrying on or employing or purporting to be employed in a business relating to animals, liable to a fine not exceeding $20,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months, or to both ;and
(2) In any other case—
(A) For a first offense, a fine not exceeding $10,000 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months, or both; and
(B) For a second or subsequent offense, to a fine not exceeding $2,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months, or to both.
